FATG Level 1

Mountboard Quality Level 1 (was Cotton Museum). Often used names: Museum, Cotton, 100% Cotton, Rag. Mountboards with all parts made from 100% cotton fibres.

 Facing papers must be lightfast to BWS5 or equivalent specified lightfastness test. Must not bleed. May not contain OBAs.

 Best for Levels 1 and 2 framing, but can be used for all framing levels.

The quality standards for Level 1 mountboards have not changed from the original specification.
